Six months from your inspection date for most coverage categories. Standard roof leak protection is also six months unless you added extended roof leak coverage at the time of inspection.
Only items that were inspected and documented as being in good working order at the time of your inspection. Items noted as deficient, needing further evaluation, or that were inaccessible during the inspection are not covered.
Poured concrete and block wall foundations, floor joists, plates, and load-bearing walls, up to $2,600 per incident with a $250 deductible.
Yes, roof leak repairs caused by normal wear and tear are covered for six months, up to $2,600 per property with a $250 deductible per leak. It does not cover roof replacement, damaged or cracked shingles, leaks from areas already flagged in your inspection report, or damage from storms, fire, hail, or neglect.

Claims are submitted through Summit Warranty Corp’s online portal. You’ll need your full home inspection report, a detailed contractor estimate covering parts, labor, and cause of failure, and contractor contact information. The administrator may request up to two additional estimates.
